BLR delivered heritage refurbishment works to Bendigo Town Hall with a focus on fabric preservation and long-term durability. We restored the original windows -carefully stripping and repairing timber, resetting glazing and putty, upgrading seals, and reconditioning hardware - to improve weather performance while keeping the historic profile. Render was repaired where required using compatible mixes and fine patching to protect edges and mouldings. The building received a full repaint using a colour-matched, heritage-appropriate system, following thorough surface preparation and spot priming. Access and protection measures were planned to safeguard decorative elements and keep the precinct functioning during works. The outcome is a refreshed civic landmark that presents cleanly to the street, sheds water properly, and will be easier to maintain for years to come.
