BLR removed the tired existing bar at Sandhurst Club and delivered a complete remodel centred on a bespoke timber bar crafted from recycled hardwood. The new bar is built like a piece of furniture with expressed joinery, solid sections, and a durable service top, including concealed services and storage to keep the front clean.
We reworked drainage, power and lighting, and coordinated beer and post-mix reticulation for efficient operation. Alongside the bar, we created a new alfresco area with covered seating, wind control, heating, lighting and slip-rated paving to extend capacity year-round. Painting and new carpet throughout refresh the interior and tie the spaces together.
Works were staged around club trading with tidy hoardings and after-hours tie-ins. The result is a warm, characterful venue upgrade that fits the heritage setting, runs smoothly for staff, and will age well.
