BLR Construction delivered the carpentry package for The Infinity Centre at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School, Keilor East. Designed by McBride Charles Ryan, the two-storey building traces an infinity symbol, looping specialised learning centres around two protected courtyards with the library at the heart.
The outer skin shimmers with Euroa glazed bricks in gunmetal and black, while the inner skin pairs vertical aluminium with warm timber framing breezeways and incidental learning spaces along the “knowledge loop.”
Our team executed the carpentry scope across these complex curves and timber interfaces, helping realise the building’s fluid geometry and clean finishes. Delivered as one of our first projects, this job set the tone for the standard we hold on precision and buildability.
